Ernie is originally from Ladybank in Fife, Scotland and after turning Professional in 1985 Ernie has twice been the Head Pro at Woodham Golf & Country Club (1993 - 2002 & 2007 to present). Ernie was a top amateur player and played for Scotland at School, Youth & Full International Level and also represented Great Britain & Ireland at Youth level.
